September Orders

After a busy August, a slow September was a nice change of pace as I gear up for a busy 3 months.

I only had 5 orders in September, one being a wedding, since my husband and I took a week off work for a much-needed vacation.

Keep reading to see some of my favorite orders yet.

Pastel Cake Balls
My first order for September was my dad’s monthly order. I can honestly say he is my most loyal, and my favorite, customer.

These pastel beauties were chocolate cake balls dipped in white with purple drizzle and pineapple upside-down cake balls dipped in white with pink drizzle.

The pineapple upside-down cake balls were popular around Cincinnati this summer, but it looks like their popularity is dying down as we go toward the holiday season.

Chocolate Cake Balls
My best friend Laura came to visit over Labor Day weekend, so I had to welcome her with cake balls. She chose chocolate cake balls dipped in orange with green and yellow drizzle, since those are her favorite colors.

She loved the cake balls and I have a feeling she’ll be welcome with more the next time she comes to Cincinnati.

Bridal Shower Cake Pops
These chic cake pops were inspired by Kate Spade for a Cincinnati bridal shower. This order was fun to create because I got to try new techniques. I used a candy mold to mold the roses and peonies and I dipped the cake pops in colored glitter/sprinkles.

These cake pops were vanilla dipped in black, gold, or white with corresponding decorations.

People on Facebook and Instagram loved this order. I have a few people interested in ordering these in the future. I can’t wait to try these with different color combinations, too!

Birthday and Baptism Cake Pops
Do these remind you of iced animal crackers? Because they remind me of those delicious snacks.

These playful cake pops were for a little girl’s birthday and baptism in Dayton. They were strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla cake pops, dipped in white or pink with sprinkles or pink drizzle.

I love how the bride incorporated this basketball theme into their wedding. The entire candy bar had signs with cute sayings like this.

Check back next month for another wedding, more bridal showers, and some fun Halloween orders!
