Do April showers bring May flowers?
I think so!
April was full of celebrations with bridal showers and baby showers, Easter get togethers, and even a corporate order!
Keep reading to see what I made in April.
WGI Cake Balls
If you're not familiar with WGI, it's a winterguard competition that takes place each year in Dayton. This year, a coach of a Californian team contacted me to order cake balls for her hardworking team.
These strawberry cake balls were dipped in chocolate with gold sprinkles and the chocolate cake balls were dipped in pink with a white drizzle.
Gluten-Free Cake Balls for A Gender Reveal
Before the baby shower comes the gender reveal! These gluten-free red velvet and gluten-free vanilla cake balls went to a Dayton-area gender reveal party for the parents-to-be of a baby girl! The red velvet cake balls were dipped in white with pink drizzle and the vanilla ones were dipped in white with a baby blue drizzle.
Easter Cake Balls
Easter orders are second only to Valentine's Day cake balls in regards to the cute colors. I saw pastel all month long! These strawberry and chocolate cake balls went to a Cincinnati-area family Easter celebration.
16th Birthday Cake Pops and Cake Balls
For this order, the birthday girl chose these fun colors for her 16th birthday! The red velvet cake pops were dipped in white with yellow and red drizzle. The vanilla cake pops were dipped in white with green and blue drizzles. The cake balls had bright sprinkles and colored sugar on them and, from what I heard, they were gobbled up quickly!
Colorful Easter Cake Balls
Another Easter order went out to another Cincinnati family's Easter party. These chocolate and vanilla cake balls were dipped in white with pastel sprinkles and pastel drizzle. Don't forget to order cake balls for your next event!
Last month, I got to do my 2nd corporate gift order for a company located in Lebanon. This order was comprised of 40 DOZEN cake balls and 40 half-dozen peanut butter cups. I thoroughly enjoyed making this huge order.
The company chose these flavors: Pistachio, Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla, Funfetti, Carrot Cake. All the cake balls had a white dip and each flavor had a different color drizzle.
If you're looking for a great gift to give your employees or customers and your business is located in the Cincinnati or Dayton area, check out my large orders page and contact me with any questions or to place an order!
Classroom Easter Party Cake Pops
Busy parents love being able to bring handmade treats to their children's classroom for holiday parties, even if they don't have time to make anything. These purple pops went to an elementary school Easter party in Cincinnati. The chocolate and vanilla cake pops were dipped in purple with pastel and Easter sprinkles.
Baby Shower Cake Balls
The month finished off with a few showers. Sure, it rained, but I'm talking about this precious baby shower! These chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla cake balls were dipped in white with sage green and blush pink drizzle.
Bridal Shower Cake Balls
This order was for another bridal shower for Dayton-area bride-to-be. These chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla cake balls were dipped in coral or yellow with white flowers or white drizzle. Did you know you can get your treats individually wrapped for an extra cost? Contact me to find out how!
Bridal Shower Cake Balls
My last order of the month might be my favorite. I'm loving the chocolate cake balls with gold sprinkles at the moment! These chocolate and vanilla cake balls went to a Cincinnati-area bridal shower at the end of the month. The cake balls were dipped in white and chocolate with cream drizzle or gold sprinkles.
Just a reminder: I'm quickly booking up for my weekends and I expect my orders to increase as I start booking graduation parties for Cincinnati and Dayton area graduatiuons.
Stay tuned later this month for more blog posts! I'm going to (try) to break my monthly order posts into 2 so you can read about them in 'real time.'
My first Behind The Bakery post will be coming up later this month, too!
Also, I want to branch out into posting recipes for y'all to make at home! If you have anything you’d like me to try (or if you’d like to order), please send the idea or recipe to email@example.com or comment below and you might just see the recipe on this site soon!
