Orders: Beginning of May
This post marks a new era with The Little Pink Bakery's blog! Since I'm getting busier, it's hard to sit down and write a post that spans an entire month. This brings me to writing 2 posts a month devoted to my orders!
Also, check back next week for my first Behind the Bakery post where I talk about my Whole30 experience.
Now, let's get to the goodies!
The Ohio State University Graduation Cake Balls
These chocolate cake balls went to a new graduate of The Ohio State University. The chocolate cake balls were dipped in scarlet and grey with alternate drizzle. O-H-I-O!
First Communion Cake Balls and Cookie Truffles
This order was the 2nd time I've gotten to use my favorite mold: the alphabet mold. The chocolate and strawberry cake balls were dipped in white and chocolate with blue drizzle and letters or blue sprinkles.
The Nutter Butter cookie truffles were dipped in chocolate and white topped with mini Nutter Butters and crushed Nutter Butter cookies.
The Pineapple Upside Down cake balls were dipped in white with yellow drizzle.
I'm still loving creating sayings on the cake balls, so y'all should come up with fun saying for your next order!
First Birthday Party Cake Balls
These funfetti cake balls went out to a colorful first birthday party in the Cincinnati area. The cake balls were dipped in orange, blue, and green with alternating drizzle.
Batman-Inspired Cake Pops
I love when people give cake pops to their loved ones. I especially love it when they cake pops represent something their loved ones loves. These chocolate pops were inspired by a husband's love of Batman, which is why they're dipped in yellow, black and grey with alternating drizzle.
Pick up some cake pops or cake balls for your someone special today!
Bridal Shower Cake Balls
I know I said last month was all about showers, but it turns out that May has a few showers, too. These orange and turquoise chocolate and strawberry cake balls went out to another bridal shower. This color scheme is definitely getting me ready for my summer orders!
Birthday Party Cake Balls
Since these went out to a family friend, I won't say the milestone birthday these were created for. I got to choose the colors on this one, so I went with a white dip and turquoise drizzle for the chocolate cake balls and a white dip with a turquoise and pink drizzle for the carrot cake cake balls.
Classroom Birthday Cake Balls
Parents, if you can, let your children pick out the colors for their birthday cake balls because it makes the order even more special to create and special for them to have! These chocolate and vanilla cake balls went out to an elementary school's classroom birthday party. The chocolate cake balls were dipped in purple with pink drizzle and the vanilla cake balls were dipped in pink with purple drizzle.
Mother's Day Cake Balls for LIFEHOUSE Church
For Mother's Day, my former church contacted me to make cake balls to hand out to the moms who came. For this order, I created 350 cake balls and packed them in paper bags for the church to easily hand out. The vanilla cake balls were dipped in white with pink and purple drizzle. The chocolate cake balls were dipped in white with blue and green drizzle. If you're interested in having cake balls at a corporate event, church event, or a graduation party, check out my Large Orders page.
Kate Spade-Inspired Cake Balls for Baby Baptism
The final order for the beginning of may were these Kate Spade-inspired cake balls. The Pineapple Upside Down cake balls were dipped in white with black drizzle and a pink flower. The yellow cake balls were dipped in gold with gold sprinkles and a pink flower. The strawberry cake balls were dipped in black with black sprinkles and a pink flower. This design never gets old!
